Louise has been with us for ten years!

This month, we’re celebrating an incredible milestone at Ridge Referrals – Louise Higgins has been part of the team for 10 years!

Louise is a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with a particular passion for CT imaging. In fact, she’ll happily describe herself as a “CT nerd” – and it’s easy to see why! She thinks CT scanners are an impressive bit of kit and loves the level of accuracy they can bring to a patient’s diagnosis.

For Louise, it’s not just about the technology itself; it’s about what that technology can mean for our patients. The detailed information provided by CT scans can help the  team make more informed decisions and, in some cases, even demonstrate that surgery isn’t necessary. Being able to provide the right diagnosis and treatment for each individual patient is what makes the technology so valuable to her.

Over the past decade, Louise has taken on a new role as Practice Manager, but her enthusiasm for the job and for the patients we care for hasn’t changed. She still loves what she does and remains a much-valued part of the Ridge Referrals team.
