Kat Edgecock

RVN

Kat qualified as a RVN in 2001. Her career has included working in both general practice and referral hospitals.

Locuming for several years has provided valuable experience of many different practices and veterinary professionals. Kat came to Ridge Referrals initially as a locum in 2024.  After taking an opportunity to teach at Bicton college for a year, she returned as a permanent team member in January 2026.

Her interests include anaesthesia, orthopaedics, and feline nursing. Kat splits her working life between Ridge Referrals and a general practice in Wells, which gives her a satisfying balance.

Kat is also a qualified beauty therapist, and provides a range of treatments to her clients around her other jobs.

Outside of work, Kat enjoys reading, movies, running, and swimming.
